    Congratulations (yet again) Dyer-Grimes!

Architects Dyer-Grimes have won The Sunday Times British Homes Award for the second year running. This time for the conversion of a three-storey apartment in Kensington to a prestigious home in the Modernist genre that has become the Dyer-Grimes signature style.

We, at Fulham Brass, salute the audacious imagination of the Dyer-Grimes team that caught the critical eye of the judges. As it’s said: faint hearts ne’er won fair lady!

No doubt it was the grand concept and its extrovert expression that singled it out for honour but it’s the detail that adds the lustre, details such as the door furniture that was supplied by Fulham Brass, London’s most knowledgeable supplier of architectural hardware. The Gropius lever handle (see above) is in polished nickel with black ebony grips and is in the Bauhaus range. There are others.
