DIN Euro Profile Sashlock
Sash Locks are used when a latch is required for easy access to a door, in addition to a dead bolt which provides the locking security. These sash locks can be operated by lever handles on rose, which would require a pair of euro-profile escutcheons to conceal the cut out required for the euro-profile cylinder.
Based on the lock cases used in continental Europe, DIN Locks are becoming popular in the UK because of the modular basis of the case and the distance between the lever handles and the escutcheon or bathroom turn and release.
The use of lever handles on round roses of 50mm diameter or greater look much better with the greater distance to the accessories.
Radiused forends and strike plates can also be supplied to order.
A 12.5mm rebate component is available.
